Treehouse would love to have you join us for plan management. If you are interested, please use the sign up button above.

Plan Management helps you manage the funding in your NDIS plan without the stress of handling budgets, invoices, or paperwork yourself. When you choose a Plan Manager (like Treehouse), we take care of the financial administration so you can focus on your goals.

Here’s how it works:

  • Your plan includes funding for a Plan Manager – Your NDIS plan will include funding under capacity building – improved life choices.

  • Sign up for plan management – You then contact your Local Area Coordinator (LAC) and ask them to help you find a Plan Manager or go directly to a provider (like Treehouse) and ask them for plan management. They will get assigned as plan managers in your NDIS portal.

  • You receive supports from your chosen providers – NDIS-registered or not. You remain in control of who you work with and what services you use.

Plan Management gives you the flexibility of choosing your own providers, with the convenience of having someone else handle the financial side of your plan. If you ever have questions about your budget or invoices, our team is here to help.

Your providers can send their invoices to us to process. If you want to, you can ask to see the invoices before we process them. We will check the invoices and, if they are correct, we will send them to the NDIA. We will pay you or your providers (depending on who the invoice is from) when the NDIA sends us the money.

Your NDIS plan will contain a separate budget specifically for plan management services. This budget is separate to your other NDIS budgets and will not impact how much you have to spend on other services such as therapies, supports workers, consumables etc. This ‘bucket’ of funding is listed under ‘Capacity Building: Improved Life Choices’ and is specifically in your plan to cover the cost of plan management. We are paid a ‘monthly fee’ from this separate budget by the NDIA to manage your NDIS plan.

Your plan manager will:

help you keep track of your budget – with regular updates, statements, and support to understand spending and funding categories.

Help you understand your plan – Explain funding categories, price limits, and how you can use your funding in practical, easy-to-understand terms.

Support you to make informed choices – Help you navigate service options, understand quotes, and ensure you know what supports can be claimed.

Ensure invoices meet NDIS guidelines – Check for accuracy, correct item numbers, and compliance with NDIS rules so payments are processed smoothly.

Provide responsive support – Answer questions, help resolve invoice issues, and assist with any changes in your services or funding.

Assist with financial organisation – Keep all records, payments, and claims organised in case of audits or reviews.

You need to let us know as soon as possible when you get a new NDIS plan. This will help to make sure all the details are correct and that your providers get paid properly.

You can let us know if you have concerns about a provider. We are not responsible for what your providers do or say. Their actions are not our responsibility, but we will try to help you.

If you do not want plan management through Treehouse anymore, you can tell us you want to end the service

agreement. You can do this through emailing info@treehouse.org.au or by giving us a call (02) 6299 7271. We ask that you give us 2 weeks notice if you want to end the service agreement.  This will give us time to prepare any final statements and give you an accurate update of your current expenditure and budgets. If we want to end the service agreement, we need to give you 2 weeks notice too. We can end the service agreement earlier if there is a serious issue.
